Dr. Hung Chiao attended the Annual Convention of American Psychological Association in San Francisco from August 9-12, 2018. Her main tasks of this trip were to organize a roundtable discussion about international LGBTQ advocacy as the Co-Chairs of LGBTQ Committee of International Section within Society of Counseling Psychology of APA, as well as serving the incoming Non-US based Membership officer position. Thus, she attended several events, such as International Section Meetings and international leader collaboration meeting. She also had good discussions with international scholars about potential collaboration and exchange programs. Overall speaking, Dr. Chiao’s involvement in such an international stage is an exciting opportunity for faculty and students of Psychology Department at the Asia University. We hope that we will bring more international opportunities for students and faculty at the Asia University to interact and collaborate with professionals around the world.
