Midterm exam is coming.

The student association of the department of psychology is holding an "All-Pass" event for all the psychology students. The students have to throw a ping-pong

ball into a cup in order to get "All-Pass Candy", symbolizing a blessing for getting high scores in their midterm exams. 

The head of the student association of the department of psychology Alex said "It is a great opportunity for the seniors and juniors of the department to interact

and discuss their experiences on studying and preparing for the courses".

After six failures, Iris, a sophomore in the department, convinced herself that only the last successful trial (the 7th) can

be counted as the sign of success of her midterm exam; whereas the other students thought the first six trials implied she needs to study harder.
